I believe that beauty is found in the moment...
& when it's captured, you can experience it for a lifetime.....
I fell in love with photography when I was a little girl. Ill never forget the day, my mom was mad that I didn't eat my dinner, so she sat me down with a National Geographic to show me pictures of starving children. Yet when I looked at the photographs, all I saw was beauty. I was completely hypnotized by the images, and how the photographer could capture beauty in the midst of despair. I fell in love with the power of film in that single moment.
I spent the next 20 years following a different career path, as a somatic therapist and dancer- but my love for film kept calling me.
So now here I am, a seeming lifetime later, completely blessed to spend my days photographing the beauty of people in love in love with each other, with their families, with life .. because thats what lifes all about!
Ive dedicated my career to capturing the luscious natural beauty of weddings a day rich with emotion, beauty, and fleeting moments of connection. Because in the end, after all the detailed planning and excitement, wedding day is over in a blink- families return to daily life, the dress is boxed away, flowers gone, and the only reminder of those important moments are the photographs. Capturing those rich moments as they happen and helping my brides feel beautiful in the moment is what I do best.
